Usage

Electric part-turn actuator MOKA is designed for special valves installed out of the containment of nuclear power plants with reactors type VVER and in attended spaces of nuclear power plants with reactors type RBMK. According to ranking within safety classes and purpose of their use, the actuators MOKA belong to the elements: 2N; 3N; 4N; 2Z; 2P; 2O; 2NZ; 2NO according to OPB-88/97 and make it possible to control shut-off and regulation valves by reversible rotary motion with turning angle of the output part up to 90°, including cases requiring tight closure in limit positions. A typical example of using is control of ball valves, flaps, and similar devices in the regime of remote control and automatic regulation. The actuators are installed directly on a controlled organ.

MOKPED Ex – explosion-proof electric part-turn actuator

Usage

Electric part-trun actuator MOKPED Ex are designed for control and working applications in hazardous explosive environment in accordance with EN 50014 and EN 50018, zone 1 (former SNV2) and zone 2 (former SNV1) in accordance with EN 60079-10.

The actuators are used for control of fittings by reverse rotation movement in remote control and automatic control circuits. They can be used for other appropriate units as well. Special applications should be discussed with the manufacturer.

MODACT® MOKPED EEx Control electric actuators have electronic position control. They are used as terminal elements of physical value control circuits. The actuators are mounted on control units. Connection values comply with ISO 5211 or DIN 3337 specifications. The actuators can also be used for areas with flammable dust according to EN 50281-1-3.

Description

MODACT ®  MOKPED Ex electric actuators in non-explosive version Ex d IIC 80°C (T6) and Ex d IIB 80°C (T6) are intended for control and operation in an environment with danger of explosion of explosive gaseous atmosphere in zone 1 and zone 2 according to EN 60079-10 (332320), and for areas with flammable dust in zone 21 and zone 22 according to EN 50281-3 (332330). The actuators are designed in compliance with the standards EN 60079-0:2004 and EN 60079-1:2004 for explosive gaseous atmosphere and with the standard EN 50281-1-1 for areas with flammable dust.

MOKED – electric part-turn actuator

Usage

Electric part-turn actuator MOKED is designed for shifting control elements by a reversible rotary motion with the turning angle of the output part 90°, including cases when tight closure in end positions is required. Typical example of using is control of ball and flap valves in similar installations in the regime of remote control as well as automatic regulation. The electric actuators MODACT ® MOKED are mounted directly on the controlled element.

Description

Electro-mechanical control board is replaced with the electronic system DMS2 or DMS2 ED. Both systems scan position of the output shaft and torque of the electric actuator by contact-free magnetic sensors. The sensor of the output shaft position is absolute and does not require any backup power supply in case supply voltage is disconnected during operation of the electric actuator. Both systems can be set and monitored by a computer with controlling programme or manually without a computer.
The more simple system DMS2 ED substitutes electromechanical parts and/or provides for controlling the electric actuator by input analog signal as in the version Control.

The system DMS2 enables the electric actuator to be used for two-position and three-position regulation or to be connected to the industrial bus bar Profibus.

KP MIDI – electric part-turn actuator

Electric part-turn actuator KP MIDI has been specially designed for actuating valves (ball and flap valves), louvers, air flaps and other devices for which they are in respect of their characteristics suitable.

Description

The KP MIDI (KP MIDI Control) electric actuators consist of the following basic units:

• reversible synchronous motor with a permanently connected starting capacitor
• power gearing with a shaft, fitted with a square s = 14 mm
• electric outfit

The power gearing consists of a pinion attached to the output shaft of the electric motor, spur gearings and a geared wheel coupled with the output shaft of the electric actuator. The output shaft is fitted with a square s = 14 mm providing for connection to the driven shaft of valve. For control of the position-limit and signalling switches, adjustable cams are fitted at the other end of the output shaft, which is extended in length into the actuator control part.

Electric outfit consists of four microswitches of which two are used for tripping the actuator when the end positions of the output shaft have been reached and two can be used for the position signalling of the output shaft.

Outlets of the micro-switches and electric motor are connected to a terminal board which serves for electric connection of the actuator to external circuits by means of a cable with conductors of maximum cross-section 1.5 mm².

For sealing of inlet cables, the actuator is fitted with two cable bushings. Protection against shock voltage is provided for by internal protective terminal. The actuators can be fitted with anti-condensation heater.

KP MINI, KP MINI EEx – electric part-turn actuator

Usage

Electric part-turn actuator KP MINI (KP MINI Control, KP MINI ЕЕх) with a constant rotating speed of the output shaft (hereafter referred to as actuators) has been specially designed for actuating valves (ball and flapper valves), louvers, air flaps and other devices for which they are in respect of their characteristics suitable. They can be used in remote and automatic control circuits.

When equipped with an electronic position regulator with position feedback, these actuators can act as a final power control element of control circuits used for controlling physical variables.
